The two of us are on vacation from Bend, Oregon, USA, cycling across Espana Verde from Bilbao to Santiago and on September 30, 2024, had dinner here at Cafe (cafeteria) Express. Compared to the other establishments in town, this place is friendlier and the food stands out as above grade. And, our first time in weeks of pedaling the bread accompanying the meal was whole wheat. I rather enjoyed the Revuelto Especial, a kind of scrambled egg with asparagus, mushrooms, and shrimp for €11. A nice change of pace with a glass of Albarino at €2.70. Breakfast the next day worked out the same way. Just enough different, fresher pinchos options with the usual cafe con leche.- Servicio

This place is a gem. Great setting, classic food, sweet vermouth on draft, AND gluten free pizza, bread, and beer. I so appreciated the bocadillo de queso y jamón serrano on a very nice gluten free baguette. Our server was congenial. The food was good. We will be back.

Llevo años frecuentando este local y está muy bien, los platos combinados para mi lo mejor, abundantes y de buena calidad. Bocadillos y pizzas normales. Precios razonables, recomendable no ir con prisas.

Un lugar muy agradable para cenar rollo hamburguesa o pizzas (la que pedi de tres quesos con chorizo picante súper rica) y tienen otras cosillas como cecina que estaba también muy buena. Los camareros muy majos. Pudimos ir a cenar un viernes siendo las 22:30, que en Vegadeo puede ser una hora más complicada para poder cenar algo.

Lo único "negativo" que puedo decir es que dándole la razón a otro usuario, tienes que tener paciencia, eso sí, la espera con creces merece la pena, el producto es muy bueno, el trato correcto y la atención cordial, además la espera con una caña de Alhambra Roja a buen precio se hace breve.
